Certificate of Editing

Scientific journals and universities often require proof of professional editing. A certificate of editing is Proof Reading, LLC's official documentation indicating that a document has been edited by a full-time, US-educated professional proofreader.

Once a document has been edited, you can request a certificate from the Pending Documents or Status page. You will need to log in and locate your document. Once you have found the document for which a certificate is to be issued, click on the Purchase Certificate button. You can purchase a certificate for $9.99. This certificate will be available upon completion of your order and payment for the certificate of editing.
